The students are at the centre of all we do. With personal ties to the UK, US, Germany, Switzerland, France, Japan and Korea, the team at Hi-London is committed to preparing our students for a multilingual, multicultural world. We work with both the students and their parents to define each student's English language goals and do our very best to ensure that each student's time with us is effective and motivating.
Children, teens and adult family members from countries as near as France and Spain and as far as Kazakhstan and Korea have joined us in past years to experience London and learn English. With as many as 6 different mother tongues represented in some classes, the children, teens and adult family members who join our English courses often have no choice but to speak to each other in English. Learning from each other is a key part of the Hi-London experience.
Placed in a relaxed, natural environment, the children, teens and adult family members often find that communicating in English is not as difficult as they thought. Interacting naturally with the teachers, workshop leaders and each other as they explore London, the children, teens and adult family members who come to our school learn English without being fully conscious of all that they are learning. Below are what some of them have shared with us:
I just wanted to say thank you all. Naoya had a great time with you guys. He showed me some photos he'd taken with a few of you and other kids. It seems that now he manages to somehow communicate in English, and he enjoys it!

Orazio and Costantino were very happy to receive Kate's assessments; they really enjoyed their time with Hi-London. Costantino tried to blame the problem of "sh" and "th" sounds on the dental appliance (orthodontics)! After Christmas, we will make our plans for next summer and hope to see you again. Many, many thanks for the very good experience our grandchildren had.
Bruna from Italy
I am very glad for the opportunity to study with Hi-London. The children improved a lot this month. They loved the visit to the BBC. You have very good teachers. I will be recommending your school to friends and other Brazilian families so that they can have the same opportunity we had in London. And more than this, we intend to return next summer to study with you again.
